Creating a beautiful Thanksgiving table setting has never been easier! Today, we are making a Thanksgiving Charger Plate using two beautiful fall patterns from our November Vinyl Craft Kit that are perfect for this project. Six charger plates can be decorated with the contents of this Kit. Let's get started!

Step 1) Measure your charger plate to size your design correctly. Most charger plates are 13" in diameter.

PRO TIP: Create a circle in the same size as your charger plate with your design tool. Next, place the design over your circle to ensure correct sizing. 

Once you have sized your design, ungroup your design and make three copies of the leaf elements. In our tutorial, we are using our entire 12 x 12 sheet to cut three different sets at one time. Here is an example of my screen for help on how to rotate each element to fit. Please note, this is using a design to fit a 13" charger plate.

SparkleBerry Adhesive vinyl should be cut pattern side-up on desktop cutters (do not mirror). Using your Cricut or Cameo, adjust the settings appropriately for adhesive vinyl.  For a starting point, SparkleBerry patterned vinyl is the same thickness as Oracal 651. Make a small test cut on your vinyl before you cut your entire design to decrease the chance of waste.  

Cut three or more copies of the word "Gather" (depending on how many plates you're making) out of your Brushed Copper Adhesive. Solid adhesive is cut "pretty" side-up on your mat and do not mirror cut.

Fun Idea: Consider using the names of your family members at the top of each charger plate for a personalized dinner setting.

Next, weed your design by removing the negative space around the leaf elements. Cut each group of leaves to separate them for easy application.

Repeat the weeding process for the Brushed Copper vinyl.

Once both sheets of vinyl are weeded, apply the sticky side of the Application Tape to the design. Burnish your design with your squeegee on the front and back. 

Place the leaf elements near the bottom on the left and right side. Find the midpoint of your design to center the word "Gather" on the top center of the charger plate.
